In the Moment (II)

A chance , an opportunity to show skill and greatness . An opportunity to appease . In the final stretch of the drive the anticipation dwindled and turned into unreadiness coupled with pure fear . Would I preform up to expectations ? Would I flop ? Would I faulter ?  All these thoughts of doubt ran amok in my mind with increasing tension . As I gripped the steering  wheel, I couldn't help but feel pebbly leather give way underneath my sweaty palms . I've waited my whole life to come face to face with a connection of this caliber . At that moment it became quite apparent to me...I felt like a predator .. Raw and unadulterated ....completely unfiltered and ready to pounce . I'm a wild Lion in the Serengeti stalking my prey ...
