I think sometimes people sell themselves short in life. I know I sure did for a good while. I think sometimes we have the thought process of not being good enough, not deserving better, or thinking that we won't accomplish, that we won't succeed. Sometimes we find ourselves in situations in which we know we could do better, but because we are comfortablewe stay in these situations, knowing that we aren't truly happy. I see people put themselves in the background when they know they know they want to run the show. Know yourself, know your worth. Life will always throw you curve balls of doubt but you have to stand inside of faith and stay true to yourself. Success happens because of perseverance. Imagine if the Lewis Latimer would of given up on trying to create the carbon filament. For those thatdon't know Lewis Latimer created a carbon filament inside of a light bulb which was an improvement on Thomas Edison's original paper filament, that burned out quickly.
Something as simple as a light bulb filament demonstrates the long term effect of perseverance and determination. The work of Lewis Latimer paved the way for more advanced technology which directly correlates to the more advanced light bulbs we have now ! Perseverance is what drives success therefore
it is of utmost importance that you don't give up and that you stay as consistent as possible.
